You are responsible for booking your international flights.  Michelle can assist you in this process if necessary.  It is your responsibility to arrive at Lima airport on the evening of May 1, 2010.  The Path with Heart is not responsible for flight delays.  In the event that you miss the shuttle to our next destination from Lima to Cusco on May 2, 2010, you are responsible for the costs to get you to Cusco to reconnect with the group.  We will do everything we can to assist you with travel, but cannot guarantee that in the event of delays that we will be able to hold the group.

Domestic flights while in Peru are booked upon sign up.  These flights will be booked through Michelle.  These flights can range anywhere from $500-$1000 total depending upon the time of booking and the costs in Peru.  We will do our best to assure the cheapest rates.

For both international and domestic flights there are airport taxes.  On an international flight the airport tax is $28-$31 and on domestic flights it ranges from $5-$7 per flight.  These costs are paid at stations in Peru.  You are responsible for paying these costs and they are not included in the price.

The Path With Heart and its principals, guides and agents are not qualified first aid or medical care providers and can assume no liability to provide first aid or medical care.  It is a requirement that you purchase traveler's insurance .  Proof of purchase must be shown to Michelle prior to departure.

The Path With Heart reserves the right at any time to decline, or disqualify from the trip or any portion of the trip any person whose conduct impedes the trip's normal operation, or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other trip members.  This includes those who are physically unfit to engage the rigors of all or a portion of the trip. Refunds for unused
services will not be given under such circumstances.

We provide the best fares possible with as low an overhead as we can.  However, trips are priced well in advance of departure, and between that time and our actual departure we may be faced with unexpected cost increases. If this occurs, you will receive ample notification. Therefore, we reserve the right to increase the cost of the trip at any time.

The Path With Heart, its principals, guides and agents are not responsible for expenses arising from the delay or extension of a tour due to weather, political disputes, sickness, failure of public transportation, flight changes or cancellations, missed connections or any other cause beyond our control.

Upon registration you will receive a detailed itinerary for both the mountain, and jungle trips.  We reserve the right to shift the itinerary based on the shaman's advice or due to weather, governmental regulations, and/or travel delays.  Please understand that this is a spiritual journey and the shaman and guides are guided by the spirits and concerns for the energetic dynamic of the group. Please trust in the guidance of the shaman and his relationship to this land.

Shamans are healers in their respected communities and are sometimes called upon for emergencies.  In the event that our shaman is needed for an emergency in his community, we reserve the right to appoint another guide for the day/s necessary.

If you decide to partake the jungle portion, it is your responsibility to acquire vaccinations.

We will be reaching elevations of 10,000+ feet while in Cusco and the sacred valley.  Please consult a physician before booking this trip to ensure you are fit to traverse these elevations.  Upon sign up you will be given a list of herbs, and other advice to assist you in adjusting to elevation, as well as a suggested health regimen to prepare (i.e. acupuncture for elevation change etc.).

It is your responsibility to be adequately outfitted. You will be sent a detailed list of recommended clothing and personal gear.
